I worked as part of GBCS Group as a UI/UX Web Experience Specialist. GBCS Group is a technology and consulting company focused on transforming fleet and asset management through innovative, data-driven solutions that help organizations improve efficiency while reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact. Their work spans transportation, logistics, and global fleet operations, helping companies make smarter, more sustainable decisions.
I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to gain hands on experience designing web experiences that support technology-driven solutions and sustainability initiatives. I'm especially excited to continue developing my skills in UI/UX design, web development, and AI-assisted workflows while learning from such a talented and mission driven team.

What I did day to day
Leadership
Led weekly team check-ins, coordinated task assignments, and helped prioritize deliverables to keep projects moving forward. This experience strengthened my understanding of product management, cross-functional collaboration, and the relationship between product strategy and design execution.
Design
Created on-brand digital and print assets, including presentations, proposal decks, marketing materials, and website graphics. Using tools such as Canva, WordPress, and AI Tools, I translated client needs and brand guidelines into cohesive visual experiences across platforms.
Web & Product
Contributed to digital experiences supporting technology-driven solutions and sustainability initiatives. Focused on maintaining visual consistency across deliverables through thoughtful typography, spacing, iconography, and color, while aligning design decisions with user needs and client objectives.

At the end of my internship, SkyIT Services — a subsidiary of GBCS Group — issued my Certificate of Completion, and my supervisor Carole Mrad, Operations Manager, wrote a letter of recommendation for my work.
